Nitish Rana (9 credits)
While otherwise a promising contender, Nitish Rana has so far not been able to get into the rhythm. His form has fluctuated, and he has not been able to do much with the willow, at a dismal average of 18.40 in 10 games with 184 runs. Also, Rana is better removed from the team than included provided that there are better choices to choose from a vast window of match-winners that KKR has.
Prithvi Shaw (8.5 credits)
Despite getting into a groove in the middle phase of the tournament, Prithvi Shaw has not been able to continue his successful run. He got half-centuries consecutively, but since then, a series of low scores have followed, and he has failed to remain at the crease. Shaw has 209 runs at 20.90 in 10 games, which, considering his batting position, is not an impactful result.
Pat Cummins (8.5 credits)
He may be a big-match player, a million-dollar man, and one of the most lethal pacers of the modern era, but this year, Pat Cummins certainly wasn’t in his best shape. Cummins, otherwise a true wicket-taker, not only lacked the lethality to catch wickets, but he also leaked runs more often than not. Pat Cummins would not be the right choice for you to start with only 3 wickets in 10 games at an economical rate of 8.22.
