England lost the last three-match T20I series between the two teams to India (2-1). England whitewashed South Africa in their last three-match T20I series. India, on the other hand, won their last three-match T20I series against Australia (2-1).
So statistically, both the teams are equal in the T20I series. After winning the Test series, the players of the Indian team are now strong with confidence. Moreover this time the Indians are playing at home, they are going to try their best to make the series memorable.
